Cats and happeningsPosted by Susanne Sat, December 20, 2008 16:58:45

We would like to thank our kittenbuyers for sending pictures and mail with updates during this year. Although we have decided to take a break from breedning and catshows you are still welcome to contact us if there are any questions or other considerations.

Since the time isn't enough for us we are not able to send some christams greetings this year but we want to wish our kittenbuyers and catfriends a very Merry Christmas!

Break

Cats and happeningsPosted by Susanne Tue, December 02, 2008 20:36:22

There will not be any kittens between Ora and Ike. Iron Ike is now a neuter so we cant make another try either. We have decided to take a break with our breeding since we are quiet busy with other things right now.

There has always been our plan to let Inez and Peter mate someday and this maybe will be possible when Inez is getting older. We'll wait and see what happens.

For the moment we have decided to take a break from kittens and shows until we have the time to start again. Right now there will be a joy to just have the cats as pets.

Waiting for springtime!

Cats and happeningsPosted by Susanne Thu, April 17, 2008 20:58:31

There has been a little bit more quiet in our house since three of our kittens in J-litter moved to their new families. Now have both Jack and Joan found new homes too but they will stay with us for two weeks more.

We have finally taken the big and important decision to keep Iron Ike with us. Though it seems like not the most logical thing to do since we kept his sister it is not an option to let this great personality move. His existence makes my day even brighter and he just is a wonderful boy in every ways. Ike and Inez are going to their first show next weekend and it is very exciting to see how they will handle it. Unfortunatly Ike is going to compete against his brother and halfbrothers in the future since every one of them are in group three but it will be so nice to meet them and see how they have developed.

Surprise!

Cats and happeningsPosted by Susanne Tue, April 01, 2008 22:39:31

I have not been that good to keep my english blog updated but there has been so much to do for a while now. Our kittens in the previous I-litter are all doing great. Ivo has moved home to the father Bahraz and big sister Holly and he has a really nice life in his new home. Inez is living with us and Iron Ike also because of some change of plans. No one could never have missed to understand that Ike has been my soulmate from the day he was born and who can hanlde a separation like that. But these things are the way they are now.

Our J-litter is twelwe weeks old now and I am both surprised to tell that two of the boys have turned out to be two sweet girls smiley. They have been renamed and Jalla Jalla is now Janis Joplin and Jolly Jumpers new name is Joan Jett. I have been thinking for a while that these two babiemales are too sweet to be boys but it never occured to me that things could be different. But as my first wish was to have at least one female in this litter it seems like someone has decided to go along with my wishful thinking so I am the first one to happy of course.

There has been a lot of changes in my life the last months so the most important things for me has been the health and development of this litter and I have not wasted my time for anything else, but of course it is always easy to consider things afterwards and one can always have done things different. But for now I am very happy to announce that we have two very lovely and beautiful femalekittens and one nice malekitten for sale instead of three boys smiley.

Our lovely kittens!

Cats and happeningsPosted by Susanne Fri, January 18, 2008 21:17:12

We have got our first two classic tabby boys! I was really surprised when Jagger and Jalla suddenly got this pattern. It was certainly not expected but of course it is really nice. All of the boys are growing well and hopefully there will be better pictures of them next week.

Our I-litter is developing strong and positive. I just love all of them. They have a lot of similarites but they also got their own special qualities. It is really hard to chose who's the best kitten this time. They also are very social and nice in temper so I really enjoy spending time with them now.

There is some interest in all of them but we have decided to not be in a hurry so feel free to contact us if you have some questions about them. We are hoping to be able to take to a show as a litter but we'll have to see if that is possible.

This week it's time for Ivo to be shown in our blog. I just love his nice profile and his strong boning.

Waiting for 2008

Cats and happeningsPosted by Susanne Fri, December 28, 2007 20:48:34

Today our kittens in the I-litter are 3 weeks old and now they are playing around when they're not taking a nap. All three of the are developing well so the future seems promising. Hopefully one of them is staying nearby so we will have the opportunity to follow one kitten close by when it is growing up.

Ivo is for the moment the biggest on in the litter with a strong boning and perfectly straight profile still though the kittens profile usually changing when their their mother are breastfeeding them. Inez is a sweet girl with a lot of go and she seems to follow in her sister Hollys footstep when it comes to temper and personality. Last but not least there is Ike who is my personal favorite by different reasons. The main reason is that he reminds me of his brother Halo Hunter who was and always will be very special to me. But over all we are very pleased with the development of all kittens.

Now it will be exciting to see how their halfsibblings will be like when Ezzy will have her kittens soon in about 1 ½ week.

Me and my family wish you all a Happy New Yearsmiley

Soon christmas

Cats and happeningsPosted by Susanne Fri, December 21, 2007 19:44:13

It feels nice that it's soon christmas even if our christmas gifts already has arrived. They are two weeks old today and so very sweet. There is some interest shown for them but we will wait a while until we decide anything. All of them are growing well and they seem to develop nice. Of course there is always someone in every litter that is special but I wont tell who yet.

This year we dont have the time to send individuals christmas greetings but of course we want to wish all of you a Merry christmas.

I-litter one week

Cats and happeningsPosted by Susanne Fri, December 14, 2007 19:51:14

Today our kittens are one week old. All three of them are strong and healthy and they gain a lot weight every day. The last week has been filled with many things to do especially since it soon will be christmas. So in the evenings I spend a lot of time just watching over Luthien and her babies. It's so very peaceful to follow the kittens developing during their first days in life and Luthien is the best mother I can think of.

Inez is the first one to open her eyes and she seems to be a forward girl that really knows what she wants. I am very found about the boys also. They are two sweeties at the moment. I really looking forward to see them grow up.

In about four weeks our female Ezzy will have her first litter with the same father as to the I-litter. She is enjoying the life as pregnant and it will be exciting to see what this combination will bring.

Next week I hope I will be able to take some better pictures of the kittens since I find it difficult to manage good photos of them when they are so very young.

See you next week!
